How to choose a suitable UCI probe and kits for the hardness testing application?

Answer:

Firstly, it must be known what material is tested, please check the typical application in the following table, it will be helpful to choose right probe. If there is coating or plating on the specimen, it is better to choose the motorzied probe with minimum testing force, but you must consider the roughness of surface. If the roughness is high, the light force probe is not suitable.

Secondly, if the specimen is small and massive, it is better to choose a stationary stand to make the testing reliably.

Thirdly, if the specimen is a cylinder-shape, it is better to fix the probe in a small/ large cylinder kit, or MU-200 portable stand, it will be benefical to get a credible testing result.

Fourth, if the specimen can not be reached by the standard length probe, it is able to test it in the lengthen manual probe or motorized probes. If it is inside wall of some turbines or pipes, it is able to use the manual shorten probe to complete the testing.
